A lucky motorcycle rider somehow emerged unscathed after being sandwiched between two oncoming pickup trucks that crashed into each other in Thailand.

Security footage shows the two pickup trucks slamming into each other at an intersection without a traffic light in Phrae province on January 10.

The collision sent both veering towards a rider, who had no time to react as the vehicles barreled her way.

The trucks sped past her on both sides, sparing her by mere inches as they diverged in a V shape.

Police found two damaged pickup trucks, blue and silver, at the scene.

The unnamed owner of the blue truck said he was driving back home and claimed he had blacked out, causing the crash. He has agreed to pay all the damages.

Residents said accidents often happened at the junction and have urged local authorities to make improvements.
