Upside Down Car Outside Central Park - Doorman Tries To Rescue Driver

After turning off 5th avenue onto 68th street, a car that was traveling a bit too fast, according to witnesses, side swiped a parked vehicle and flipped twice landing upside down in the middle of the street.
Doorman tried to rescue driver by breaking the window with a hammer.

Residents and passers-by were amazed at the sight of an overturned car on such a small street.

Police shut down 5th avenue and the Emergency Service Unit worked to flip the vehicle back onto it's tires and clear the streets.

No one was pinned in the vehicle but the driver did sustain minor injuries and according to one witness left in an ambulance with a neck brace.
