This is the nightmarish moment a wild python was caught strangling a black cat. The owner noticed their beloved pet feline, named Dam, was missing and went to look in the yard in Bangkok, Thailand, on May 2. Their worst fears cam true when they saw the cat was motionless on the ground with a 12ft long python wrapped around his little body. The emergency services arrived and bravely removed the snake from the cat, which sadly could not be saved. Fireman Phinyo Pukphinyo, 49, said: ''The cat's owner called him but it didn't respond. She couldn't find her cat so looked in the garden. A snake was trying to eat him.''
