A video has emerged of two bike borne assailants robbing a woman in India's northern Delhi state. The incident took place on May 13 in Inderpuri area of the national capital.

Visuals captured on CCTV cameras showed a man and a woman walking at a distance. The man exits the frame while the woman is slowly walking when a bike carrying two riders goes past her from the opposite side.

The bike stops at a distance and the pillion rider slowly gets down and follows the woman. Before the unsuspecting woman could understand the situation and raise an alarm, the rider cups her mouth with his palm and snatches the gold chain off her neck.

The woman puts up a fight, but the effort wasn't enough to stall the muggers.

Seeing his partner engage in the crime, the rider turns the bike and brings it closer to the mugger, facilitating the escape.

The woman goes down during the resistance and the mugger gets on the bike as they flee the scene with the looted goods.

The man, who had exited the frame, comes running for help. Another woman, dressed in black too rushes to help the victim.

No arrest have been made so far.

Meanwhile, the incident had angered social media users. Some said as many as 10 chain snatching incidents take place in the national capital every day, however, the police are yet to take firm actions against the perpetrators.
