The massed pipes & drums lead the Queen & Royal family from the 2018 Braemar Gathering (4K)
Her Majesty the Queen with HRH Prince Charles, the Duke of Rothesay and The Princess Royal, Princess Anne, depart from the 2018 Braemar Gathering, held in the Princess Royal & Duke of Fife Memorial Park in Braemar, Scotland.
The massed Pipes & Drums, led by Drum Major Rowland Stuart of the Lonach Pipe Band, enter the field as the Royal family prepare to leave, then parade around the field ahead of the Royal Family and again after they exit the games field. Her Majesty the Queen was officially opening the newly constructed Highland Games Heritage Centre in the grounds as she left.
The bands present were Ballater & District Pipe Band, Lonach Pipe Band, Perth & District Pipe Band, Blairgowrie & District Pipe Band, Kintore Pipe Band, The Royal Scots Ass Pipe Band, Grampian & District Pipe Band, Huntly & District Pipe Bnd, Fraserburgh RBL Pipe Band, Bucksburn & District Pipe Band and the Isle of Cumbrae RBL Pipe Band.
