Locals eat just inches from oncoming trains at this restaurant in Thailand.

The cafe in the Talad Plu district of the capital city Bangkok sells local dishes like rice or noodles for 30 baht (80p).

But diners have to keep a look out for locomotives that thunder past as they pull into the station next door.

Visitor Randolph Frost, who filmed the scene last Wednesday (July 10), said: ''There wasn't any barriers between people eating and the train tracks.

''I'd never seen anything like this before. It felt quite unsafe from my view, but people eating there didn't seem to have any problems.''
