Elderly Chinese man floats down a river on his back frightening onlookers
A woman called the police after spotting an old man lying on his back floating down a river in Beijing on August 2.
The video shows an old man in a red T-shirt lying in the river and flowing down with the stream.
A woman can be heard calling the police on her phone: " [I am] on the east side of the bridge. The man is moving [with the river]."
After a while, the old man suddenly stood up and walked away.
The woman shouted to him: "Can you walk onto the shore?"
Another man asks "is he drunk?" and the woman replies "I don't know."
After the police and rescuers arrived, they talked with the elderly man and told him off before letting him leave.
