Young Child Colors Protest Sign - "Free Those Kids" Anti-Concentration Camp Sign

4-and-a-half-year-old Tzivia Reeder made this sign herself, to protest the US Trump-backed concentration camps. She asked how to spell the words then did all the writing/drawing herself. In this video, she's coloring in a heart.
She felt very empowered by protesting at the July 11th Lights for Liberty protest in our small town, alongside her mom (me), her dad, some of her child friends, and 230 or so other locals.
Kids can handle knowing about tough stuff, but it's important to give them ways to feel like they're doing something to make things better. She was very excited to make this sign and raise her voice. Unlike many jaded adults, she believes those small actions might really make a difference and help people.
It's been heartwarming for me to see her ethics and her empathy bloom so brightly so early.
