A bored driver fiddling with a pen smashed his coach into the back of a car on a highway.

The dramatic video, shot in Gaoyou city in eastern China's Jiangsu Province on August 22, shows the coach driver with earphones playing with a pen while driving the coach.

However, the coach suddenly slammed into the car in front, breaking the front windscreen.

According to reports, that section of the road was under construction and lots of vehicles drove through but the coach did not slow down.

Three passengers were injured and the coach driver was blamed for the incident.

现场监控显示，当时京沪高速由南向北路面施工，车多缓行。不料，一辆大客车像失控似得，几乎没有减速撞上了前方车辆，导致三人受伤送医。
民警现场调查时，客车司机坦白，是自己大意了。行车录像发现，事故发生前，客车司机双耳戴着耳机，小动作不停。 一会儿托着头倚在座位上，一会儿趴在方向盘上抠指甲。最荒唐的是，他还给圆珠笔换起了笔芯。
警方最终认定，大客车司机张某驶机动车在高速公路上行驶时，未能注意安全驾驶，遇有情况措施不及，承担事故的全部责任。
