3 Male Lions Tear Impala Into 3 Pieces
Our guide from krugersafarinow.com do not bypass this waterhole when in the vicinity as chances of seeing something interesting is always good. The 1 Male surprised the Impala while it was drinking at the De Laporte Waterhole near Skukuza Rest Camp in South Africa's Kruger National Park.
The Impala ventured in to deep and the first Lion pounced. Then a huge struggle erupted as the 3 Males each wanted their fair share.
This is a man-made cement dam and can become quite slippery when wet which makes it difficult for some animals to quickly get out again.
Often Hyenas are seen bathing in this dam to escape the heat. Incredible sighting.
