Surrounding land flooded as River Derwent water levels rise in Derbyshire
Footage showcases the damage left by the rising water levels of the River Derwent in Derbyshire after the Midlands were subjected to torrential downpours.
Derbyshire Police tweeted: "The body of a woman has been recovered from #flood water in #DarleyDale. Emergency services were called to a stretch of the #RiverDerwent in the early hours of this morning after a woman was reported as having been swept away by flood water."
This footage was filmed on November 8.
