A litter of newborn puppies are making a strong recovery after being rescued by a passer-by from a bag left abandoend INSIDE A DUMPSTER in Greece.

Footage filmed on October 30 in the town of Karlovasi on the Greek island of Samos shows the moment Spyros Koymoylas pulled the paper bag out of the bin containing the whimpering 11 newborn pups.

Further footage shows the puppies being looked after by the rescuers and being bottle-fed.

The pooches were first noticed by local woman Eva Aivalioti, who volunteers at an organisation that protects stray animals in Samos, when she was out walking her dog.

“The puppies must have just been born as they still had their umbilical cords attached. I was in total shock, we took them to the centre to take care of them and feed them with baby bottles,” Eva told Newsflare.
