A police constable in Firozabad, Uttar Pradesh in India said he escaped certain death when a bullet passed through his bulletproof vest but was stopped by his wallet.

Vijender Kumar, 24, said he was now celebrating his “second life” after he was shot in the chest as protests against a controversial citizenship law descended into violent clashes on Friday.

This is like my second Life , these were the first word of police constable Vijendra Kumar who had a narrow escape from a bullet fired at him in Firozabad during Citizenship Amendment Act protest on 20nd December .
Vijendra had a narrow escape from death ,after a bullet fired during a protest first pierced through his bulletproof jacket and than stucked into his wallet ,which he had kept in his upper jacket pocket .
Vijendra says there were 4 ATM cards and some pictures of Lord Shiva and Sai baba in his wallet .
