2000 young women performing a traditional dance had the audience enthrall at an event in the south Indian state of Tamil Nadu.

The Bharatanatyam dance performance was organized on January 26 at the A.M. Jain College, Chennai.

Visuals show women dressed in traditional silk saris with gold embroidery designs, swaying in a linear formation.

The footage also captures the graceful movements of the dancers that are both enchanting and elegant to the viewers.

According to reports, the dance was performed on the occasion of 11th Hindu spiritual and Service fair on the theme of 'Revering Womanhood to Foster Woman's honor'.

The dancers showcased the ideas of 'Feminine is divine', 'Glory thy name is a woman' and the role of women in the family, society through their dance movements as a large crowd of locals witnessed the event.
