Body of missing Russian tourist found in Gudauri
The body of a missing Russian tourist has been found in Gudauri. According to Mountain Resorts Development Company, Gudauri Rescue Service resumed search operations at 07:30 am with a staff of 50 people. The body was found at about 9:15.
The body has already been identified and reelevant procedures are now being carrid out.
The search began on February 15. According to the Mountain Resorts Development Agency, the tourist was hit by an avalanche. A group of tourists were moving in the forbidden zone. The Gudauri Rescue Service managed to save 3 people.
