Workers at an office in Bangkok, Thailand, wash their hands in specially-installed sinks this morning (April 3) as preventive measures to stop the spread of covid-19.

The sinks were plumbed into the lobby area of the tower block and anyone entering the building must clean their hands before being allowed into the offices.

All building workers and visitors must also undergo temperature checks, hand sanitise, and wear face masks. These measures weer implemented to prevent coronavirus contamination in the building.

Building manager P'Ning said: ''We have taken the virus seriously ever since it started. We are determined to keep the whole building covid-19 free.''

Thailand has seen 1,875 so far of the coronavirus since the pandemic began last year in Wuhan, China.

Ministers have introduced increasingly strict measures, closing down all non-essential customer-facing businesses and introducing nighttime curfews.
