This is the adorable moment a pet dog lead its cow friend for a walk so they could graze together.

Veterinarian Duentula Wongsilp recorded the unlikely friends when she parked her car on a farm in Nakhon Si Thammarat, southern Thailand on May 18.

The pale Aspin dog leads the cow across the green lawn to another patch of grass where a second dog was waiting. They they appeared to relax together.

Duentula said there are dozens of dogs living around the property and they had ''made a society of their own''.

She said: "When the villagers graze the cattle on the grassland, these dogs will always be around with their cow friends. Animals here have always been happy because they get along with each other so well."
