Truck driver takes a shortcut across highway's central island
This is the bizarre moment a reckless delivery truck was caught taking a shortcut across a road's central island.
The vehicle cut across the grassy island with palm trees in order to perform a u-turn onto the opposite side, instead of waiting for the traffic lights farther along the road.
A shocked driver captured the violation while he was waiting for the red light to change to green on a main road in Phuket, southern Thailand.
The motorist said: "This is one of the most thoughtless things I have ever seen. I'm still confused about why he did that. I understand that he may be in a hurry, but we should be observant of traffic regulations as well."
