Fire hits popular restaurant in Hanoi, Vietnam
A fire broke out a locally popular restaurant in Hanoi, Vietnam as summer heatwaves swept the district.
The An Khan restaurant in Hoai Duc district, which is known for serving delicacies and noodles in the area, caught fire on May 21 during a 38 degree Celsius temperature heatwave.
A regular customer named Mai Anh Vu who was supposed to visit the food place stopped when he saw fire razing the establishment.
He said: "It was so dangerous and scary. I stayed on the other side of the road after seeing the fire. I hope no one was hurt."
The fire had even spread on the electric pole outside the restaurant and engulfed the tree standing in front.
An Vhu said that the firefighters came shortly and the fire was out in a few minutes.
