Typhoon Kajiki struck northern and central Vietnam, causing seven deaths, multiple injuries, and extensive damage in the country. Heavy rains and strong winds flooded streets in Hanoi, paralyzed traffic, and damaged thousands of homes and hectares of crops across Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Thai Nguyen, Phu Tho, and Quang Tri provinces. Power outages affected thousands as electricity poles fell, and emergency services were deployed to assist residents and reinforce flood defenses.
