Darkness at noon as massive dust storm engulfs Indian town
A massive dust storm swept through Churu town in northern India on Thursday (June 25), darkening the skies just after noon.
It became so dark that vehicles had to switch on headlights and many homes also lit up.
Video filmed by a local reporter and shared with his permission shows the eerily orange skies.
The storm passed without causing any damage, although though local citizens reported breathing difficulties.
Churu lies close to the Thar Desert and experiences frequent dust storms.
