The Eid Al-Adha Celebration of An Nadzir in Indonesia
An Nadzir congregation in Gowa Regency gathered to hold the Eid Al-Adha 1441 Hijriyah Prayer at the Baitul Muqaddis Mosque in Gowa Regency, South Sulawesi Province, Indonesia, Thursday, July 30, 2020, morning.
In the morning, the congregation came to the courtyard of the mosque together with the family in their distinctive black clothes. They also pray together in the guidance of an imam who is also the leader of their group.
The implementation of Eid Al-Adha Prayer performed by this group is faster one day compared to the decision of the Indonesian government. An-Nadzir is an exclusive Islamic community consisting of 5,000-10,000 followers throughout Indonesia. (*)
