Footage shows elephants wearing beautiful red and gold robes for a wedding ceremony in Surin, northeastern Thailand. There are an estimated 2,000 elephants that live in the wild in the country and around double that amount in captivity where they are in zoos, sanctuaries or private homes. The jumbos are used in religious ceremonies, weddings, parades, festivals and other celebrations. Surin province is considered by many to be Thailand's ancient home of elephants.
