A basketball fan painted a stunning mural to mark the LA Lakers title win and pay tribute to the late Kobe Bryant.

Clyde Dimayuga recorded the four-minute time-lapse showing him and his five other artist friends painting the mural in Cavite province, the Philippines on October 5.

The giant mural covered the back of a two-storey house featuring the NBA stars LeBron James and Kobe Bryant in their iconic LA Lakers' yellow and purple jersey uniforms.

The artists are now planning to paint the late Hollywood star Chadwick Boseman best known for his portrayal of T'Challa, king of fictional African nation Wakanda, in the Marvel film Black Panther, beside the basketball icons.

The NBA fanatic said it took them three days and a total of 12 hours to finish the mural tribute.

He said: "We are a huge fan of the NBA and we are so happy that my team won this year. This mural marks the victory and it is also a tribute to Kobe Bryant."

Kobe Bryant died in a helicopter crash earlier this year with his daughter Gigi while Chadwick Boseman succumbed to cancer in August.

The LA Lakers won the NBA title earlier this month.
