Filipino taxi driver sealed by barriers connects tube to air-con fan so passengers stay cool
A resourceful taxi driver who sealed his seat in plastic curtains because of the coronavirus connected a tube to the air con which channelled cold air into the back.
Reyna Mae Atil boarded the taxi with the creative driver in Cebu province, the Philippines on October 4.
Installing the barriers are required by local officials to implement social distancing in public utility vehicles.
However, the plastic barriers blocks the cold air from going to the passenger's seat at the back so the driver had to find a way to fix it.
Reyna said: "Well, I was amazed at his creativity. It was the first time that I took a taxi since the lockdown and it really caught my attention instantly."
