A pair of Indian giant squirrels with multi-coloured fur cling to a tree in southern India and munch on bananas.

The large rodents were sighted in Tirumala town in the state of Andhra Pradesh on October 20th, happily eating a banana offered by a man at the bottom of the tree.

Indian giant squirrel or the Malabar squirrel an endangered species was caught on camera when it came to eat a Banana in South India.

Rainbow squirrel or the Indian giant squirrel that was in deep red color or may be purple with short, round ears came down to have a fest given by a human.

It happily ate the Banana that was offered to it. This happened in Tirumala in Andhra Pradesh.

It looked double the size of common grey squirrels. After eating the Banana it went back to the tree top. All these were captured on camera. This species is in the endangered animals list
