Firemen free boy's head stuck in between glass doors at Chinese shop
Firemen freed a boy's head from the glass doors at a shop in eastern China.
In the video, shot in the city of Shanghai on October 28, a boy attempted to open the lock on the glass doors but failed. He then squeezed his head into the narrow gap between the two glass doors and then became stuck.
A nearby shop owner heard the boy's cry and came to check. After the boy's father heard the noise, he came out and tried to use the key to open the doors, but the lock cylinder got stuck.
The father then used different items to try to smash the door open but failed. He then called the firefighters for help.
Firefighters used an electric shear expander to cut down the lock and opened the doors to free the boy's head.
The boy was then sent to hospital for treatment. He has been discharged from hospital already and he was not injured seriously.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
