This was the moment an alleged unconscious woman was carried to an ambulance by a group of riot police in Minsk on November 15.

Footage shows a large group of the heavily-armoured police close to the Pushkinskaya metro station. Subsequent footage shows a similar group of police carrying what appears to be an unconscious woman to an ambulance.

Local media reported that over 1,000 people were arrested on Sunday across Belarus during protests over the disputed presidential election.

Mass detentions on Sunday took place in two districts of Minsk. First — in the area of the Pushkinskaya metro station, where the opposition called on people to come to restore the people's memorial to Alexander Taraykovsky — the first person to die during the protests in Belarus. By the beginning of the rally, a convoy of prison trucks and minibuses arrived there, and the security forces began to disperse companies of more than two people and conduct targeted detentions.
