This is the moment a shop owner was confronted by police for remaining open and defying the UK’s second lockdown in order to feed his family.

The family-owned store run by Alasdair Walker-Cox, who runs Grace Cards and Books in Droitwich, said despite police visits and a council prohibition order they would stay open during lockdown.

Shop owner Alasdair, 54 and wife Lydia, 50 from Droitwich who run the store are willing to keep shop doors open.

They plan to remain open throughout the remainder of lockdown in order to help pay the bills and look after their seven children.
