Chinese teacher suspended after forcing students to smash their phones in class
A middle school teacher forced her students to smash their phones in a classroom in southwestern China.
The video, filmed in the city of Mengzi in Yunnan Province on December 1, shows three students smashing their smartphones onto the floor one-by-one as their teacher's request.
The teacher forced them to break their phones as the school does not allow them to bring them into class.
According to reports, the teacher has been suspended and the case is under investigation.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
