Ponnamaal wife of Late Duraisami a resident of Jeeva Nagar of Aalangudi Pudhukottai district has three sons they lived happily. Due to the old age Duraisami died a few years ago. And their sons take a good care of Ponnamaal after her husband's death.

One of her family members said she has witnessed more than ten Cyclones in her life span. And even today she does all her daily chores. The food habits and the lifestyle was in such a way that she doesn't get infected with any diseases soon. Now Ponnamaal has more than 30 grand children and great grand children.

So all their family decided to celebrate her 105 th birthday in a grand manner. Invitation s were distributed to their relatives and friends for welcoming them to the birthday party.
