A 15-year-old from northern India has taken social media by storm with his extraordinary balancing skills.

Footage from December 15 and 12, respectively, shows Praveen Prajapat managing to balance and spin a flaming bicycle wheel upon his head.

If that wasn't enough, he bends down to retrieve a fiery spoon in his mouth while the wheel continues to spin above.

Additional footage shows him balancing a stack of terracotta pots and a gas cylinder, weighing over 14 kilograms.

Prajapat has become a local hero in his hometown of Alwar in Rajasthan and his incredible skills have garnered the attention of celebrities on social media.

His skills have even earned him several accolades and he is regularly hired to perform.

Praveen says, “I have been performing since I was five and had started with balancing small items like cup or glass on the head, it took me several years to practice and reach here.

"I can now balance anything right from heavy metal cylinders to rotating cycle rims on the top of my head.”

He first rotates the cycle rim in his hand and then places it on the top of his head, the wheel continues to spin on his head with speed.

He then gradually bends down and scoops a spoon of fire with his mouth from a glass kept on the ground.

The rim doesn’t even flinch or fall as the fire cup remains intact on the top of his head while he bends to pick up the spoon of fire using his mouth.

The hair raising stunt was performed by Praveen Prajapat, a resident of Alwar in Rajasthan who has now become a local celebrity for his exceptional talent of balancing heavy things on the top of his head at such a young age.

His talent has won him several accolades and organizations now book his time for performing on the stage.

Praveen said, he started off with his balancing art since the age of 5 with small objects on his head, later, the objects and the risks grew bigger as he grew up.

He can now balance spinning cycle wheels, balance heavy metal cylinder balanced on the top of glasses made up of glass and other heavy items, he continues to hone his balancing art with new objects on his head.

Praveen draws inspiration from his father Banay Singh Prajapat who is also a balance art performer.

Praveen has also stunned Indian celebrities and garnered praises his hair raising stunts.

Praveen says, it was not an easy task initially but it took him several years of practice to reach here.

The performances that Praveen performs is a bit risky as it involves heavy metal objects and sharp glass utensils which can cause injuries in case of accidents.

Praveen says, “I take utmost care when I am performing because I balance such a heavy metal cylinder on the top of two thin glasses made up of glass. It came up with a lot of practice. I have fortunately not faced any accidents or injuries till date.”

Praveen says his father Banay Singh Prajapat is also a balance performing artist and he has drawn inspiration from him.

He says he is still young and has a long way to go in honing his balancing art.

His work has been recognized by many Indian celebrities who have taken to their social media accounts to share his balancing skills.
