Moose on the loose: massive creature runs across US ski slopes
Incredible footage has captured the moment a moose stumbled onto the slopes of the beginner’s training area at a ski resort in Steamboat, Colorado.
The footage was captured on January 15 by Jace Amore, who along with two friends had just completed a top to bottom run.
They were sitting on a patio enjoying lunch when a commotion around the beginner’s area caught their attention.
They glanced over and spotted the massive moose.
The moose proceeded to trot through the beginner’s area before jumping over a fence and safely running back up into the mountains.
Speaking about the video Jace said: “Me and my 2 friends started skiing early on Friday, January 15th. We hiked to the top of my Werner and put together a top to bottom run and all agreed it would be perfect time for a beer and lunch. We were sitting on the patio enjoying our suds and here comes the moose! We had a perfect spot on a perfect day. He came trotting through then got into the beginner’s area before he jumped over the fence and ran back up the mountain.”
