Police officers and passersby lift bus up together to rescue elderly Chinese man trapped underneath
Police officers and passersby lifted a bus up together to rescue an elderly man trapped underneath in eastern China.
The heroic video, shot in the city of Hangzhou in Zhejiang Province on January 29, shows a bus running over an elderly man jogging over a zebra crossing.
After the bus stopped, the elderly man got trapped underneath.
Nearby passersby and patrolling police officers gathered around the bus to try to lift it up together.
After several minutes, the elderly man was freed and he was then sent to hospital for treatment by an ambulance.
The elderly man suffered injuries to his waist but he was not in life-threatening condition.
The case is under further investigation.
