Kind-hearted passersby lift car together to free girl trapped underneath in southwest China
Kind-hearted passersby lifted car together to free girl trapped underneath in southwest China.
The CCTV footage was filmed in Dejiang County in Guizhou Province on March 9.
A passing white car accidentally ran over a young girl, leaving her trapped beneath the vehicle.
With remarkable speed, the child's mother rushed outside and pounded on the car's windows in desperation.
Thankfully, quick-thinking bystanders swiftly gathered, pooling their strength to lift the car and rescue the girl from harm's way.
The following day, Ms. Li, the mother, recounted the harrowing incident, describing her daughter's playful antics in the road and her futile attempts to warn the driver as the car approached.
Authorities from the Dejiang County Traffic Police Department have commented on the matter, attributing the accident to the driver's failure to exercise due caution while turning, and acknowledging some responsibility on the part of the child's guardian.
Fortunately, the toddler sustained only minor injuries and is not in a life-threatening condition. Both parties involved have been summoned for further investigation by the traffic police.
