While feeding her dad's animals, while he is in the hospital, Shara Moore noticed a kitten trapped under an AC unit in Alvarado, Texas.

The process of getting the kitten, Scoots McGee, back to health started on December 15, 2020. Shara couldn't help but care for the poor kitten.

Shara told Newsflare: "When I found him he was almost frozen because the bottom half of his body was in freezing water. I was trying as fast as possible to get him out, but he was very aggressive [and] wild, and he bit me multiple times. Finally, I was able to get him out and wrapped him in a trash bag, took him straight into my dad‘s house, and put him in front of the heater with some towels. He was barely breathing and begin sucking on the towel."

She headed to the veterinarian's office hoping they can help Scoots McGee, however, they refuse to take him in if she was not willing to take financial responsibility.

Walked out with Scoots McGee in her arms, someone in the office suggested she tried her local animal shelter.

She later told Newsflare: "I called the dispatch number multiple times and couldn’t get anyone. I put him inside my shirt to try to warm him up, and went to get a small bottle [with] some kitten replacement milk, and took him home with me. Throughout the night, he started to improve and I could tell his lower half was injured so I started researching on how to care for him until I could get the money together to get him seen by a veterinarian."

Scoots McGee is happily recovering, sheltered by Shara's heartwarming kindness.

I was at my dads home feeding his animals due to the fact that he was in the hospital on life support hoping that with me recording his home and his animals being taken care of it would help him pull through.
