Four hundi traders were arrested along with 190 000 dollars in Jashore, Bangladesh

BGB has arrested four hundi traders in Jessore along with 190 000 US dollars. They were detained in a raid in Hamidpur area of the city at 11:30 am on Friday. The arrested are Mithu Mandal (28), Shahidul Islam (23), Sohail Rana (40) and Rakibul Hasan Sagar (20). Their homes are in different areas of Jessore and Benapole.
In the afternoon press briefing, 49 BGB Battalion Commander Lt. Colonel Md. Selim Reza said, based on secret information, you can know that a gang is trying to take huge amount of US dollars from Benapole to Dhaka. On the basis of such news, 19 bundles of US dollars were recovered from the bodies of the detainees. 10 thousand in each bundle and a total of 190 thousand US dollars were recovered. The accused have been handed over to Kotwali police station.
