This is the shocking footage of a powerline in Baton Rouge, Louisiana exploding on February 17 after contacting a frozen tree branch weighed down from the recent historic snowfall.

3 days prior to the explosion, Dexter, the homeowner, tells Newsflare he reported initial contact to the electrical company. Workers then arrived and informed the homeowner that they would return to cut the tree off of the line, Dexter tells Newsflare.
