A doctor in southern China removed a pin from a 7-month-old boy’s body after he swallowed it.

The video, captured in the city of Chengdu in Sichuan Province on April 3, shows a doctor named Liu Yinghua using a tool to take a 2-centimetre-long pin out of a baby’s body during surgery.

According to reports, the baby mistakenly swallowed the pin when he was playing.

Fortunately, the pin was removed successfully and the baby has discharged from the hospital after two days of observation.

The video was provided by local media with permission.
