In this clip filmed on April 15, dozens of Indonesian reporters protest against Bobby Nasution, the son-in-law of President Joko Widodo and the mayor of the city Medan. Nasution allegedly declined interviews with journalists before the rally.

The demonstrators gathered outside the mayor's office and called on Nasution to meet the media. The mayor didn't show up.

The video shows demonstrators holding speeches, and laying their press cards on the ground.

Dozens of journalists in Medan City, Indonesia rallied to the office of the mayor of Medan. They were protesting against the expulsion of journalists from Pemko Medan (state organization). Expulsion is made by the presidential guard, the police and the municipal police.
In his speech the reporter stated that their work is protected act to obtain information.
The mayor of Medan, Bobby Nasution, who is also the son-in-law of President Jokowi, considered closing down the information and tends to obstruct the way the journalists work.
The journalists held speeches, posters and journalist’s id cards in front of the gate of Pemko Medan.
They demanded that Bobby met the journalists. Demonstrators waited for an hour, but he didn’t come to meet them. The journalist eventually dissolved and declared a boycott.
