A small child has allegedly been pepper-sprayed after a brawl broke out in a restaurant in Ohio, US – leading to the arrest of five women.

The incident occurred in the Chuck E. Cheese restaurant in the Golden Gate Plaza in Mayfield Height’s, Cleveland, earlier this month (Sunday 18 April).

According to the police report, officers from four departments were called just before 8pm after two children started fighting and adults got involved.

In a video, a woman wearing a black skirt and black-and-white jacket can be seen leading an officer to the middle of the restaurant before she lunges forward and hits another woman on the back of the head.

Several people can be seen embroiled in a heated argument, which heightens when a woman wearing a yellow top attempts to hit another person wearing a grey hoodie.

She is held back by a man as the women shout at one another.

The young woman in grey is restrained by an officer and made to sit at a table. She is holding her eye and says “I got mace in my eye” before asking for water in order to wash it.

One man carries a child away from the ruckus while other youngsters can be seen watching.

A police officer detains one woman, keeping her seated at a restaurant table as another person can be heard saying she has a gun.

Children can be heard crying amidst the dramatic scene.

A woman wearing a white T-shirt and grey jogging bottoms approaches a group standing near the police officer and the fight breaks out again.

The police officer can be heard requesting further assistance and saying there are “10-20 people involved” in the brawl.

The officer keeps hold of one woman as other officers attempt to calm down the tense atmosphere.

He tells her “you need to stop right now with the drama” as she holds onto a tearful child.

The child continues to cry as the woman talks to the officer, claiming two women approached her table and started the fight, with one of the women producing a gun.

Later, a woman wearing a pink tracksuit and handcuffs confirms the gun is hers and is told she will be detained.

Shortly afterwards another officer walks past and asks “where are the other children that go maced?”

According to local reports, a child was pepper-sprayed during the incident.

Shekeerah Blair, 27, of Garfield Heights, was charged with disorderly conduct and carrying a concealed weapon into a prohibited place.

She allegedly had a loaded gun in her purse in the restaurant, where weapons are not permitted.

Simone Ware, Dominque Ware, Brittnie Hill and Desire Thomas were all charged with disorderly conduct.
