Protest called by unions during EU summit in Porto, Portugal

Portugal’s Communist-backed CGTP trade union confederation has decided to hold a “national action of struggle” in Porto on 8 May, the day of the informal summit of the heads of state and government of the European Union (EU), within the Social Summit.
The video shows trade unions protesting against working conditions in the country. They argue that promises made in the past have not been fulfilled, such as the average wage in Europe.
