US, Los Angeles: Palmdale Barricaded Suspect Transported To Hospital
Los Angeles, United States - December 12, 2025 12/11/2025 07:00 pm GMT-0800 PALMDALE, Calif. – The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department in Palmdale initiated a pursuit of a suspect in a white pickup truck just after 7 p.m. on Thursday. The pursuit was brief as the suspect fled and subsequently crashed into a fire hydrant, causing water to spill onto city streets. Deputies from the Special Enforcement Bureau were dispatched to the scene at the intersection of East Avenue R4 and 35th Street East, where the vehicle came to rest. Following an hours-long standoff, deputies approached the suspect's vehicle shortly before 1 a.m. Friday. They removed the suspect from the driver's seat and began rendering aid. The suspect's condition is currently unknown; however, he was transported to a local hospital.
