Los Angeles, United States - December 13, 2025 12/12/2025 10:36 pm GMT-0800 SANTA CLARITA, Calif. – A man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after a late-night crash sent a vehicle crashing into the perimeter wall of a Santa Clarita home, authorities said. The collision was reported shortly after 10:30 p.m. at the intersection of Apple and Maple streets in the Newhall community. Multiple 911 callers reported the crash, with some indicating there were several injuries and at least one person trapped inside the vehicle. First responders arrived on scene and assisted at least one of the three occupants out of the damaged car. The extent of any injuries was not immediately released. Investigators detained the driver at the scene and conducted a series of field sobriety tests. Shortly afterward, the man was handcuffed and arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol. The cause of the crash remains under investigation, and no additional details were available as of late Thursday night.
