Los Angeles, United States - December 12, 2025 12/12/2025 02:30 am GMT-0800 MONTEBELLO, Calif. – The Montebello Police Department received a 911 call from a father reporting that a man was following his daughter to her motel room and banging on the door at the Beat Star Inn, located at 7533 Telegraph Road. The father stated that his daughter did not know the man. When officers arrived at the scene, they located the suspect leaving the area in a brown Ford pickup truck. Officers attempted to block the vehicle in the driveway, but the suspect rammed into the police units multiple times while trying to flee. As officers attempted to remove the driver from the vehicle, a physical struggle ensued. In the course of the confrontation, officers used a Taser on the suspect multiple times and deployed less-lethal rounds in an effort to subdue him. After approximately 30 minutes of struggle, the suspect was taken into custody. The Montebello Fire Department responded due to injuries sustained during the altercation. The suspect was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, one police officer was evaluated by firefighters but did not require hospitalization. The Montebello Police Department is continuing to investigate the initial call regarding the suspect.
