The seven-year-old pet pooch named Cho stood rode pillion with his owner in Cavite province, the Philippines.

Cho, a type of Asian toy dog breed, stood up using his hind legs while his two front paws held his owner’s shoulders to help him balance.

The rider’s wife Jamaica Manguera said their pets were being let out for walkies every afternoon but after seeing a parvo virus epidemic in the area, they were not allowed to go out anymore.

She said: ‘We normally take them for a walk every 5 pm. But ever since some of our neighbours’ dogs had suffered from parvo, we can’t take them for a walk anymore.

‘I just let them ride with my husband to entertain them. Among my seven dogs he is the only one who loves motorcycle rides and is looking forward to it everyday.’
