Dramatic footage shows the moment a 2-storey building in Bihar, northern India, collapses just seconds after a truck drove past.

The video captured on May 26 in Jehanabad shows a truck drive past the camera before the building in focus suddenly crashes onto the road.

Everyone living in the building was evacuated before it collapsed. No injuries have been reported.

A two-storey house collapsed in the Makhdumpur market in Bihar’s Jehanabad district on Wednesday, blocking the Patna-Gaya-Dobhi NH-83 for several hours. Dramatic visuals captured showed the building tilting and eventually crashing with a loud sound on the streets moments after a truck crossed the road, narrowly missing colliding with the building. Due to the incident, the Patna-Gaya Main Road was also blocked for a few hours and the building on the side of NH-83 in Makhdumpur market suddenly became landlocked.

Soon after the collapse, locals gathered to check for damages. No person was injured in the incident. All the people living in the building were evacuated before the incident and no death or injury was reported. As soon as the information was spread across, Makhdumpur police station officials reached the spot and started the relief and rescue work.
