The Historic 12 Story Westinghouse L Building is demolished in seconds as its 'pulled over' and falls in on itself in a cloud of dust. The crowd then RUNS. This demolition was a pulled over demolition and without explosives, we were as close as 150ft to the demolition and I got fantastic HD footage. The size of the cloud and its impending doom on all those even closer (100 feet) forced everyone to run for their vehicles including me, the camera man on my camera. This makes a great video to switch to when something goes horribly wrong in the story or narrative that you are telling. Rarely is anyone, let alone the photographer, this close to a demolition because they normally use explosives.
