A unique initiative to raise awareness about COVID vaccination in Tamil Nadu’s Madurai, a salon is offering 50 per cent discount to customers coming in with their COVID-19 vaccination certificates. People in rural areas are now showing interest in getting the COVID jab. Vaccine hesitancy still prevails in the rural areas. Salon owner suggested that everyone should get vaccinated to avoid the 3rd wave and hence took this initiative.
