2nd alarm house fire - Fire Chief interview, kulpmont, Pennsylvania
06:23:26 Northumberland County Communications Center dispatched a working structure fire at 634 Pine Street, Kulpmont, Pa. Shortly after the first units arrived to find an extremely Smokey situation the box was upgraded to 2nd alarm with 3rd alarm on standby bringing units from 5 counties together as manpower was an issue on this holiday weekend.
Mount Carmel Fire Department Anthracite Fire Company belted a roof ladder and reports that 1 of their Fire fighters were injured and transported.
Shortly after 07:30 the Evac tones were sounded due to a partial roof collapse along with interior floor being compromised.
